The Mendocino Art Center hosts the fourth annual Mendocino Open Paint Out, a plein air festival. The festival includes plein air painting, with wet paint sales of new artwork each day in the Art Center's galleries, twice daily demonstrations by featured artists, the opportunity to watch featured artists paint outdoors, and nightly community dinners.
