About Us:

The Annual Meriden Back-to-School Expo is a charitable event newly hosted by Meriden Fire Local 1148. It raises money to buy school supplies for under-privileged children from grades K-8 . The event is designed to get families of Meriden, CT excited about the new school year and provides children with the necessary supplies for a successful school year. It's a proud, community-wide event, founded by Larry Pelletier, that attracts local businesses, City Officials, volunteers, over 3000 Meriden residents and provides over 1500 backpacks with supplies for students.
