About Us

We are people who have either grown up here or migrated here to Northwest Indiana.  We live in communities all over Lake County and even a bit beyond.  We assemble at a building some members here built back in the 1950s.  We are united by a love for God and for His Son, Jesus who died to pay the sin-debt of all mankind.  We spend time together in praise, prayer, encouraging one another, study and fellowship.

We believe the Bible is God's word, breathed into the people who wrote it down centuries ago.  We believe the evidences already uncovered and still being uncovered by archeologists and astronomers and other historians and scientists confirms our faith.  We do our best to live our lives to bring honor to God and we meet together to encourage one another and talk about how to do this.

We are people with families and generations who are a lot like you.  And if you'd like to come and join us at an assembly or two, we'd love to have you as our guests.  And when you come, please feel free to ask any questions you may have about God or about our faith and why we do the things we do.  We will answer to the best of our abiltiy as directly as we can because we believe we should always have an answer for anyone who asks the reasons for the hope we have.  Sometimes our best may be an "I don't know" type of answer.  But we're always willing to help find the answer.
