About Us:
In April 2003, the Massachusetts Golf Association purchased MGA Links at Mamantapett in hopes of expanding the game of golf and its inherent values to juniors, seniors and women across the state.
The golf course, formerly known as New Wading River Country Club, sits on 29 acres of land and features a 2,400 yard, par-3 golf course with a design of holes that holds youthful interest yet also challenges the more skilled golfer. MGA Links is a public golf course, but various membership categories – junior, individual, family – allow for golfers of all ages to call the golf course home.
Equipped with a fully stocked pro shop carrying equipment and apparel from all major manufacturers, MGA Links has truly become a golf destination in Southeastern Massachusetts. In the spring of 2010, MGA Links opened the doors to a new, spacious clubhouse. Equipped with a pro shop, office space, a multi-purpose function room that seats about 85 people and a spacious deck accommodating another 50, the clubhouse is inviting to both regular customers and outings.
MGA Links is also the home to The First Tee of Massachusetts and provides learning and instructional opportunities for junior golfers of all ages and abilities throughout the year. On an annual basis, The First Tee of Massachusetts opens its door to over a dozen youth agencies and schools to come and enjoy a variety of golf programs.
