The all-volunteer Mont Clare Fire Company was formed in 1900 and Chartered in 1910 for the prevention of fire and protection of life and property from disaster in Mont Clare, PA. The present roster carries 20 trained firefighters with 10 support personnel, utilizing 4 apparatus and 2 water rescue craft. Located 30 miles Northwest of Philadelphia, PA. Mont Clare Fire Company, along with the Oaks Fire Company, protects over 16,000 residents and business in an 18.2 square mile area along the rapidly developing Route 422 corridor in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, PA. Mont Clare Fire Company is also a provider of mutual aid to requesting agencies. Mont Clare Fire Company proudly continues its credo of: "Neighbor Helping Neighbor Since 1900" to this day.
