Celebrate God’s Presence:
Worship is one of the highest privileges we have; to be in the presence of God and worship Him through singing, prayer, giving, and Scripture gives us reason to celebrate. It is the way we express our love for God in Jesus Christ. Jesus was asked, "Teacher, which command in God's Law is the most important?" Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’“ Matthew 22:36-37

Show God’s Love:
The way we show and prove our love for God is by loving each other. This means we are willing to put others and their needs ahead of ourselves, and be willing to serve one another. In response to the question above, Jesus said: But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them." Matthew 22:39-40

Communicate God’s Word:
Because people matter to God, and He loves everyone, and He’s given us His Word (the Bible) to tell us. We want to make sure people have the opportunity to know about His great love (the Bible calls this the Good News!). It’s part of Jesus’ last words to us before He ascended into heaven after His resurrection: “Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

Grow God’s People:
We have the joy of growing in our faith and relationship with Jesus Christ every day. As a church, we want to do whatever we can to grow together in our relationship to each and with the Lord. It’s the second half of Jesus’ last words: Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20
