Newcomers Club of the Southwest Suburbs Where Newcomers Meet New Friends "WELCOME TO MINNESOTA"! The members of the Newcomers Club of the Southwest Suburbs (of Minneapolis) welcome you! Participating in Newcomers is a great way to meet new friends, get acquainted with the community and enjoy many activities and special interest groups. For those who have recently relocated to this area, Newcomers provides an excellent way to make your transition easier and more fun. If you've lived here for a while and now find that you would like to make some new friends, you are welcome to come check us out! As a civic and social club, we meet monthly as a large group. We also meet throughout each month in small interest groups. There are even occasional events for the men in our lives, too! Our "Welcome Coffee" Group Meets Every Fourth Tuesday of the Month We invite you to come meet us! We get together on the fourth Tuesday of each month at THE DUNN BROTHERS COFFEE shop in Eden Prairie for coffee and conversation. The group meets from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. See us when you arrive and we'll buy your first cup of coffee. Just look for the "Newcomers" sign. There is no need to RSVP. Directions: Take I-494 to Highway 5 West. Turn left (south) on Eden Prairie Road (Route 4). Dunn Brothers is about ¼ mile on the left, located in the very quaint, historic Smith Douglas More House.
