Mission

The purpose of the North Babylon School District is to teach children how to learn while building their character, fostering their creativity, and teaching them to be thoughtful and productive citizens of this diverse and democratic nation.

The result of the District's effective performance of its mission will be creative students who possess broad knowledge, well developed skills, analytic minds, strong character, a positive outlook, a love of learning, respect for democratic principles and institutions, and the ability to work with and to get along with others.
