Northwoods Humane Society was founded in 1970 by a group of caring individuals who saw a need for sheltering unwanted animals in Chisago County. All of these animals were housed in foster homes until the dream of a building could come true. In 2000 the doors were opened for our location in Wyoming, MN. We provide services to surrender pets, adopt pets and have a variety of low cost spay and neuter programs available to the public. All adoptable animals remain in our care until they find new homes.
