The Washington Township School District will provide a safe educational environment for all students to attain the skills necessary for full participation in our global society as responsible, self-directed, and civic-minded citizens.

Our Goals :

  • To fulfill the mission of the Washington Township School District and to underscore our beliefs, the Board of Education has adopted the following five goals for the 2004-2005 school year.
  • To ensure that all school facilities are clean, safe, secure, drug free and prepared for emergency management.
  • To improve student academic performance at all levels district wide as demonstrated on recognized standardized tests including the: HSPA, GEPA, NJASK 3, NJASK 4, SAT and PSAT.
  • To pursue community and corporate partnerships that will provide new or enhanced learning opportunities, strengthen connections with the local business community, as well as cultivate potential classroom resources and/or financial support.
  • To encourage innovative programming that optimizes student instructional time and use of the district's financial resources.
  • To maintain frequent and quality communication within the organization and throughout the community so as to foster understanding of and support for the mission of the Washington Township Public Schools.
