What We Believe
We believe in God as creator, Christ as Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit as God’s living redeeming presence. We accept Christ’s call to discipleship and try to follow His example for living responsibly, in obedience to God. The church is Christ’s body, alive and ministering today. We commit ourselves to worship, study, prayer, mission outreach, availability to those in need, and to live as ambassadors of Christ in our daily lives.
What We Preach
We preach Biblical truth and love of God as revealed to us in Jesus Christ.
What We Practice:
"For I was hungry and you fed Me; I was thirsty and you gave Me water; I was a stranger and you invited Me into your homes; Naked and you clothed Me; sick and in prison, and you visited Me." Matthew 25:35-36
Our Purpose:
To Know Christ and make Him known to others.
Enter God’s gates with thanksgiving and praise!
Give thanks to God… Bless God’s Holy Name!
"Come to me, all of you who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest."
Organization of the First Presbyterian Church of Paoli began October 1892 when twenty-three members of Sabbath School Mission met in a small chapel on Darby Road.
