Approximately 275 students in kindergarten through fifth grade attend ParksideElementary School.  The major focus of the elementary schools is to provide learning opportunities to improve student achievement. Students also receive instruction in physical education, music, art, guidance and library science.  Spanish is available for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade pupils. A district gifted-education program is available for qualified children in grades two through five which offers supplemental enrichment experiences to the core classroom instruction.  Students with special needs receive appropriate support in the classroom to promote success.
