Established in 1968, Person-to-Person (P2P) is a volunteer-driven, community-supported agency which, through the sharing of goods and talents, responds to individuals and families who lack the basic necessities or resources to improve their lives.

P2P provides rapid response to client emergencies as well as access to interconnected services which support our clients' journey towards self-sufficiency. These services include practical help, problem solving, advocacy and education for our common future.

More than 90% of all donations go directly to programs, which include two food pantries, a clothing center, financial assistance and counseling for a client's situational crisis, summer camperships for children, and college scholarships to low-income students.

In 2013, through the generosity of everyone who made a contribution of time or treasure -- individuals, businesses, foundations, schools, congregations and community organizations -- we were able to provide financial assistance, food, clothing and housing assistance to 24,500 men, women and children.

549,393 meals from groceries from our Emergency Food Pantries

49,157 bags of free clothing to 4,441 families

1,982 Kids served by P2P holiday gift programs

1,330 households enjoyed festive holiday meals

1,158 families provided with $411,256 in financial assistance

554 children had a safe and fun-filled summer through our Campership Program

241 college students awarded $366,245 in scholarships

So much of what we accomplished is thanks to the 3,000 volunteers who contributed 74,500 hours of their time.
