About

The Poquetanuck Fire Department was Established in 1942. We provided Fire, Rescue, and EMS services for The Poquetanuck Fire District within the Town of Preston, Connecticut. We provide BLS ambulance transport service for the entire Town of Preston. We are currently an all volunteer Department. We responded to a total of 530 incidents in 2005.We are Dispatched by Ledyard Emergency Communications Center. Our operating frequencies are 33.58 MHZ, 453.050 MHZ, and 452.500 MHZ.
We operate with Six Vehicles: Two(2) engines, one(1) tanker, one(1) rescue, two(2) ambulances, and one(1) rescue boat.
