We are always looking for people who have a heart to serve this great city through a variety of popular events. This site also provides a calendar of events, our monthly newsletter, club committees, as well links to other useful Lions websites and information.

While we concentrate our service projects on sight and hearing conservation, diabetes awareness and youth activities; we have responded to the needs of our community when adversity strikes such as Hurricane Isabel, nearly three years ago. In this particular endeavor, the Lions quickly mobilized their efforts and provided over $10,000 in heating and cooling for those forced to live in FEMA trailers. We are tuned into this community, and many of our projects have become ingrained in our citizens as events to look forward to.
There is tremendous fellowship in this club that can only be found in an organization that puts others ahead of self. Nothing is more satisfying than knowing that your volunteer efforts have made a difference in another’s life. Poquoson is a generous community, we will strive to continue our legacy that is behind our motto of “We Serve”.
