The Pulaski County Humane Society is a non-profit organization. Our goals are to reduce the number of unwanted, neglected, and abused animals in our community and to teach the public how to care for animals properly and humanely. These goals begin with spays and neuters, education, and public awareness campaigns.

Our Mission:
The purpose of this organization is to foster the humane treatment of animals.

Our objectives, in accordance with the guidelines of the Virginia Federation of Humane Societies, are to:

Reduce unwanted pets in our Community through education, adoption, and spay / neuter programs.

Strengthen our message as to the humane treatment of animals through public awareness campaigns.

Develop projects which raise support for spay / neuter and animal veterinary care programs.

Regularly and consistently improve the overall welfare of animals in our Community.
