About Us:
We are one of Wisconsin's largest radio controlled aircraft clubs. It all started out in 1961 when a small group of guys, who were into radio controlled airplanes, got together and formed our club.
‹
The purpose of our club is to educate its members, and the general public, in the hobby of radio controlled model aircraft construction and operation; to further the aim and purposes of the Academy of Model Aeronautics; to encourage and regulate safety concerning the operation of such aircraft; and to engage in such charitable activities relating to that hobby as may be determined from time to time by the board of directors.
Our field is conveniently located for anyone in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington and Ozaukee county areas. From Hwy. 41/45 North or South take the Silver Spring Exit West to Pilgrim Rd. Pilgrim Rd. North to the first overpass. Turn right before the overpass onto Shawn Drive and then left at the stop sign to Kohler Lane. Watch for Flying Field signs. At the big water tower turn right to the field access road. From Pilgrim Rd. southbound, go over the bridge, turn left at Shawn Drive and follow the directions above. We fly from 6 am to 10pm.
