Boasting a wide array of toys, books, art supplies, educational games, and unique gift ideas, the Red Wagon Toy Store will soon open its doors to South Florida families. Located at 9715 W. Sample Road in Coral Springs, the brand new store will appeal to the kid in all of us.
The store will kick-off its "Grand Opening" during the weekend of October 3, 4 and 5. The public is invited to enjoy shopping between the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Special events will include face painting with Sally Sutton of Glitterifics, Blueberry the Clown, a ribbon cutting with area dignitaries and special guests, prizes and much more.
The vibrant, "kid-friendly" interior of Red Wagon Toy Store is well stocked with toys, games and accessories for all ages. Parents will love the great selection and the children will be even more excited about the "hands-on" displays. Dress up areas will have samples of costumes to try on and role-playing toys; art kits and supplies will get children to show their creative side.
Setting the Red Wagon Toy Store apart, however, is the cozy craft and party room. Nestled behind the store, it is a great space that is available for birthday parties and events. The room also allows shoppers to set their children up with a craft project or two in a safe and inspiring place while they shop. It's also a wonderful space for "playdates" and offers a reasonably priced, safe and fun way for parents to get together with their children to create.
Weekly on-going events include complimentary balloon creations by Blueberry the Clown on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. as well as face painting on Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Story times will also be offered.
Owners Bruce and Bonnie Hofert and general manager Mindy Guttentag, are also excited about reaching out to the community through the store. The Red Wagon Toy Store has a school fundraising program that brings money and toys directly to the schools in our community.
