Every July/August, youngsters and adults from all over Soutwest Virginia and several neighboring states carefully groom their best-looking calves, steers and horses for the Rich Valley Fair and Horse Show, a weeklong celebration of the rural way of life. There is something going on everyday at the Fair: livestock and horse shows, mule and horse pulling contests, tractor driving contests, a pet show, a beauty pageant, musical performances.  Now added is our Truck Pull .This provides some new and some old events for our Fair.
