The Rochester '76 Lions club is a member of the International Association of Lions Clubs, the world's largest service organization. Lions clubs worldwide have focused on helping the visually handicapped by helping to fund such organizaions as the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank at the University of Minnesota, where over 10,000 cornea transplants have been done, and Leader Dogs for the Blind, the largest dog guide school in the United States.
Lions also support those people that are hearing handicapped, and we provide education about diabetes, the biggest contributor to adult blindness in the US.
The Rochester '76 Lions Club meets on alternate Thursdays (2nd and 4th) at Soldiers Field Best Western Motel in Rochester. Meeting time is 6:15 p.m.
