Mission Statement
To provide the community with the information, education, representation, and services which improve the quality of life and enhance the ability to survive the devastation of fire, natural or environmental disasters, and man-made emergencies.
About Us
The Rollinsford Fire Department provides 24 hour fire protection to the town of Rollinsford. Rollinsford is a small town (7 square miles) of about 3000 residents located in the beautiful New Hampshire seacoast region. The town is bordered by Dover, Somersworth, Berwick, and South Berwick.
The Rollinsford Fire Department is under the command of Fire Chief Harry Knowles. The department is comprised of a staff of 20-25 active members. We operate out of one station located at the corner of Silver St. and Roberts Rd. The types of calls we respond to are varied and include fires, motor vehicle crashes, hazardous materials incidents, medical aid calls, etc. We responded to 185 calls for help in 2005.
Ambulance service in the town of Rollinsford is contracted out to South Berwick Rescue. If the situation warrants, we will assist the rescue and provide primary care with certified EMT-B personnel.
