The Russellville Lions Club has an approximate membership of 80 community service oriented men and women. We have supported sight related projects in the River Valley for over 80 years, having been founded 2/15/23. Our club is very proud of the fact that our membership is a very thorough cross section of the Russellville community. We have both men and women as members, many professional members as well as the large number of just ordinary people who want to serve their community. Our major fund raisers are our radio auction and our spaghetti dinner.

These two projects raise about $12,000.00 each year. All funds raised by the club go to support projects identified as needing help in the community and sight related projects on the state and international Lions level. We contribute approximately $12,000.00 yearly for sight related projects. The projects we regularly support are: Lions World Services for the Blind, Lions Mid-South Sight & Hearing Service, Arkansas Lions Eye Bank & Lab, Lions of Arkansas Foundation , Leader Dog and Lions Clubs International Foundation. Membership in Lions Clubs is by invitation, but I assure you if you are a service minded individual who accepts the Lions motto "WE SERVE" as a challenge.
