About Us:

Ste Marie Living History Site tells the story of a small band of French Jesuit missionaries who established an embassy to the Haudenosaunee in the wilderness at the edge of Lac deGannentha (Onondaga Lake), 1656-1658. During the summer months, we have costumed interpreters on site performing daily activities.
