About Us:

Shiloh U.C.C. began as a congregation of the German Reformed Church in 1856 with the first building being built and dedicated in December of 1862. It has always proudly claimed its association with the larger church as it became the Reformed Church in the United States, then the Evangelical and Reformed Church, and , in 1957, the United Church of Christ. The building has been remodeled and renovated several times over theyears. Improvements have included an elevator, air conditioning, remodeling of the educational wing, improvements to the parking lot, and nearby additional parking. The building is handicap accessible.

Transporation is available on Sundays for the 9:00 a.m. service.  The bus is handicap accessible. Please call the church office at 275-1943 if you would like a ride and the bus will pick you up.

We begin our worship services with the expression, "No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here." We do our best to live up to the saying. The congregation has always been a visible and very active presence in the community of Danville, dedicated to being a servant to the community and to the world, living out the gospel of Christ in all it does. We are very proud of the activities that are housed here.

As people of God and disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek opportunities to serve others in need within our community and world wide while sharing common goals of love, compassion, social justice and peace.

Most recently, an elevator was added, air conditioning installed, the educational wing was modernized, improvements were made to the parking lot, and a lot was purchased nearby to create additional parking.
