Our Mission

We would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about Sonshine Academy. First, you'll probably notice we spell "Sonshine" with an "o". This is because we desire to glorify and thank God by naming this business in honor of His son, Jesus. The name "Sonshine Academy" links our desire to glorify and thank God with His command to "let your light shine before men so that they may see goodness in your acts and give praise to your heavenly Father" (Mt. 5:16).

With this as our basic foundation and motivation we believe our mission is...
to provide quality instruction in gymnastics, dance, and related physical activities in a fun, safe, wholesome environment.

We believe children can experience their "specialness", their uniqueness as a creation of God by learning athletic and artistic skills in a positive, encouraging environment. We strive to develop and encourage such desirable character qualities as respect, confidence, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. In short, our goal is to cooperate with parents to develop their child's "ability to shine."

We believe strongly in our methods and in the importance of what we do, and we feel honored to have the opportunity of serving the community of Conway.
