Springville Presbyterian Church
Church History
The Springville Presbyterian Church has a unique heritage. It began with a group of neighborhood farmers in a newly surveyed village of New Linden in 1857. In 1861, the church moved one mile west of the village of Springville. After meeting for many years in a pioneer school and the Methodist Episcopal Church on High Street, the present facility on Broadway Street was constructed in 1888. Expansion to that facility was done in 1923 and further remodeling in 1954 and 1995. The Springville Presbyterian Church has continued to grow and prosper and is fast becoming a regional church.
