Organized as a mission congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod in April 1955, St. Paul Lutheran Church continues to faithfully serve the Mount Vernon and Lisbon communities. In an ever-changing and often unstable world, St. Paul Lutheran Church is committed to the traditional worship, faith, and practice of the Church. In addition to a healthy spiritual life and religious education program, the congregation contributes to the community by sponsoring the annual living nativity, offering Vacation Bible School, providing meals before worship during Advent and Lent, and much more. You are always welcome and encouraged to attend congregational activities and experience the joy of life in Christ.
