Stoddard Elementary School is one of two elementary schools in the De Soto Area School District in southwest Wisconsin. The school serves students from the Genoa and Stoddard. With 145 students and a teaching staff of 10 full time teachers. Stoddard Elementary is able to provide large school advantages in a small school setting. Our Apple computer lab and a state-of-the-art Instructional Materials Center anchor the school's strong instructional program.
The emphasis on quality instruction and learning is reflected in strong scores on the Grade Knowledge and Concepts Exam. A key component in striving for excellence is an intensive staff development program. All teachers are provided district-wide professional development opportunities and are also encouraged to pursue individuals goals of self-improvement.
