We are a small farm located near the banks of the Sebasticook River and in the shadow of Saint Albans mountain. We maintain two goat herds. One herd consists of a variety of registered dairy goats including Nubians, Alpines and Sables, and also a herd of registered Fullblooded South African Boer goats raised to provide quality genetics for breeding stock, meat, and also cross breeding.
We generally have an excellent selection of quality, healty, goats for sale and we do welcome visitors. Offerings from our farm also include USDA inspected chevon, as well as fresh milk (in season), goat cheese, pickles, jelly, goat milk fudge, goat milk soaps, and a wide selection of baked goods from our licensed and inspected kitchen. Breads need to be ordered in advance during the winter season. All items are available at Farmers' Markets.
A terrific herd of dairy goats peacefully reside on our twenty eight acre, partially wooded, farm located near the banks of the Sebasticook River and in the shadow of Saint Albans Mountain in beautiful Saint Albans Maine.
Our assorted registered, dairy goats, Alpines, Sables, Toggenburgs, Oberhaslis, Saanans and Nubians, are raised to provide breeding stock, and dairy products of exceptional quality. After raising Registered White Angora Goats since 1989, we sadly sold our herd in April 2007. It was quite a decision to make, but in order to devote more time to our other goats and our new enterprise cheese making and becoming a licensed raw dairy, we realized that the Angoras were a little too work intensive and time consuming.Another change took place in November of 2009. We sold our herd of wonderful Boer goats. This was such a difficult decision, but the dairy part of our business has become not only very work intensive but, very profitable also.
