Our school is a middle school consisting of grades 6 through 8. We are located next to our feeding elementary school. Due to spatial demands, two classes of grade 4 and all of grade 5 is housed in our building. You will find information about grade 5 in the Strodes Mills Middle School web page, even though they are considered elementary.

Our school functions on a six day cycleStudents attend classes according to the day of the cycle rather than the day of the week. The first day of school was Day 1, the second day was Day 2, etc. The days do not coincide with the days of the week. When a day of school is missed due to a vacation, inservice, or snow day, students continue with the cycle day in which they left off prior to the missed day. This allows more classes to be offered to students within the school year and helps with problems that arise from students missing classes that would normally fall on the same day of the week
