T.A.G., Inc. is a non-profit 501 3(c) teen program organized in Augusta, Georgia, in 1998, within Richmond County Recreation and Parks for young men and ladies ages 7-18, who are enrolled and attending school.
The program was formed to help reduce teen pregnancy, high school dropouts, drug sales, alcohol and drug abuse, suicide, and gang related crimes that are weapons behind destroying our teens...our future.
T.A.G. is funded primarily through parents, local churches, businesses, community residents, and quarterly fundraisers.
T.A.G. builds and enhances self-esteem and character; develops healthier parent/teen relationships; teaches the importance of accepting responsibility, working as a team player; and the purpose of establishing and achieving higher goals.
This program offers a myriad different departments designed to motivate, captivate, educate, and communicate sound moral values.
T.A.G. works hard to live up to our motto: "Teens Teaching Positive Things" through our travels, dance, step, drama, mission work, educational journeys, social/cultural enrichment events, and chorus performances. These youth have touched thousands of lives.
