The Art Group is a non-profit cooperative of Shenandoah Valley Artists whose goal is to promote the art and artists of the Shenandoah Valley in a fun and relaxed community atmosphere. Art works of resident and visiting artists are displayed for viewing and sale throughout the building.

The Art Group offers classes, workshops and demonstrations on various artistic techniques and mediums. Many of these classes are hands-on experiences allowing the participants to unleash their creative potential in a supportive and cooperative environment.

The Art Group building has display windows fronting on Route 11, the main street of Mt. Jackson and the main thoroughfare of the Shenandoah Valley. This gallery is open for rent to visiting artists on a monthly basis. There are also various size wall display spaces available for rent. All forms of art are welcome, including, but not limited to painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, and stained glass.
