The First Universalist Church of Eldorado was founded in 1849. It is a church of diversity: a people with freedom of belief and ideas ... regardless of race, sexual orientation, religions or political affiliations.

We affirm the worth of human beings. We trust people's ability to build their own faith. We believe people should be encouraged to think for themselves. We agree that people will differ in their opinions and life styles and feel that these differences generally should be honored for each person is the final authority on his or her own life.
