Our Mission
The Hillside Historical Society encourages, inspires and promotes the preservation and appreciation of Hillside’s history through community participation, education and preserving and maintaining the Woodruff House Eaton Store Museum and the Phil Rizzuto Museum.
The Hillside Historical Society was founded in 1975 by a small group of Hillside residents who wanted to preserve Hillside’s history. Since then, the Society has been dedicated to carrying on their mission. We continue to collect and document Hillside’s history.
The Hillside Historical Society exists through the generosity of its supporters. There are no paid staff members. We rely on volunteers to help us maintain the museums and the grounds.
