Mission Statement

The South Orange-Maplewood School District prepares each student to be a productive member of society by offering a quality, comprehensive education within a diverse learning community that values academic excellence and has the expectation that all students at all grade levels achieve proficiency in the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. As a productive member of society, a student of South Orange-Maplewood will be:
