In 1950, the Thornton Lions Club was established. For over a half-century we have provided assistance to those in need.

Our services in the community extend to the fire department, police department, village, schools, library, churches, scouts and many individual citizens.

Over the years we have provided to our community, leader dogs, eye exams and glasses, hearing test and devices, blood, summer camp, ramps for the disabled, drug awareness. Globally we help fund research to prevent and eradicate the cause of blindness.

I'm sure you get the picture. Through the generosity of those around us we have been able to channel resource to help those among us.
