About us:
The Town of Kildare is located in the southeastern section of Juneau County, between the Wisconsin Dells and Mauston, with easy access to the I-90/94 Interstate. The town is adjacent to the Village of Lyndon Station, which offers restaurants, taverns, shopping and churches. A short ten-minute drive south takes you to the Wisconsin Dells with its abundance of waterparks and visitor attractions.
Kildare was settled around 1871 by pioneer families from County Kildare, Ireland. A rural community, covering 28.2 square miles with pine forests, farmlands, and streams, Kildare has several campgrounds and public parks along or near the Wisconsin River, where outdoor activities can be enjoyed. The Lemonweir River borders Kildare and flows into the Wisconsin River. Camping, canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, hunting and snowmobiling are just some of the recreational opportunities available within the town.`
