What We Believe

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, preserved for us in the Authorized King James Bible.      

We believe in the Triune God.  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God created the universe in six literal, 24-hour periods.  We reject evolution, the Gap Theory, the Day-Age Theory, and Theistic Evolution as unscriptural theories of origin.      

We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin and the cause of the Fall of Man; that he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and that he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire.

We believe that because of the fall of man, God sent His only begotten Son, born of a virgin, to be the Savior of mankind.  In order to become the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, was crucified for the sins of all mankind, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose again in victory.  Salvation is received by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that once saved, the believer is kept by God's power, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and is thus secure in Christ Jesus forever.

We believe that all saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord; and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded of God.      

We believe in the visible, personal, and premillenial return of Jesus Christ.  First of all for His church and then secondly with His church

We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved in Heaven, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the unsaved in the lake of fire.
