About Us:

United Baptist Church of Scranton is a unique organization of American Baptists that have a strong Welsh-American heritage. The church was united in June of 1984 when the two oldest Protestant churches in Scranton, First Baptist Church of Scranton and the First Welsh Baptist Church, merged to become the United Baptist Church of Scranton.

Since then, we have become a major cornerstone of the Welsh heritage in West Scranton.
