About Caledonia :
Caledonia is strategically located in northeastern Racine County, between Milwaukee and Chicago along the I-94 corridor. The town is graced by spectacular natural resources, including several miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, the longest stretch of Root River in the county, a 100-acre regional wildlife refuge and over 1,300 acres of park land and open space. Caledonia's boundaries encompass 45.5 square miles and a population of over 24,700 residents.

Retail shopping can be found in the southeastern part of the Village along State Highway 32 and Four Mile Road and in the southwestern portion in Franksville on Highway K. Residents also take advantage of nearby shopping opportunities in the City of Racine, City of Oak Creek and the Village of Mt. Pleasant.

The Caledonia Industrial Park is home to many small and mid-size companies, including Midland Packaging and Quick Cable. The industrial park is in close proximity to I-94 and served by municipal sewer and water.

A large part of the Village’s population resides east of Highway 31 in Caledonia’s urban area. Much of the shopping is concentrated in this area, along with restaurants, banks, a post office, schools, churches and medical clinics.

The Village is served by a full-time, 24-hour police department and fire department, and has a full-service highway street maintenance and snow removal department, an engineering department, a building inspection department, and a parks and recreation department
