We are two local farmers who grow our produce naturally and practice Small Plot Intense (SPIN) farming. We use only natural pesticides to ward off insects so as to not contaminate our produce, water, or our health.
One farm has been in the family for over 100 years and has been growing and canning their produce for generations. They refer to their canning as "Pantry Produce" such as; tomatoes, squash, pickled okra, green beans, corn, pears, green tomato relish, salsa, and a variety of jellies. We strive to carry on the family tradition and secret receipes that have been handed down through the generations.
While Community Supported Agricultural is becoming more popular and acceptable we have been practicing this concept for generations, known back in the days as bartering.
I practice what is known as SPIN farming. Small plot intensive farming done naturally. Only organic approved fertilizers and insect control techniques. NO HERBICIDES PERIOD....
If you have a restaraunt and want something specifically grown call me and we can grow it for you. IE. Micro Greens, spices, etc.
