Wales Township was organized on March 27, 1841. We are largely an agricultural-residential community of approximately 3000 residents living in a thirty-six square mile township, located in the heart of St. Clair County, Michigan. St. Clair County is the easternmost county in the State of Michigan, at the base of the "thumb", where the foot of Lake Huron and the head of the St. Clair River join.
Wales Township is also the home of the St. Clair County Park and Fairgrounds where the yearly 4-H fair is held and among other things to offer it's residents.
