Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Inc. is a sisterhood of Business and Professional women's organization that promotes change through economic and educational advancement. 

GPD assists youth further through our auxiliaries and providing chapter, regional and national scholarships. GPD gives back to the community through our charitable donations, hands-on community services and free professional development workshops.

GPD was founded in February of 1943 by blood sisters Violet T. Lewis and Elizabeth Garner at Lewis Business College in Detroit, Michigan. Originally GPD was founded as a way for business women and women at 2-year colleges to have true sisterhood. Now membership is welcomed from various backgrounds and career fields.
