Therapeutic Riding enhances quality of life and cultivates personal growth through therapeutic, educational, recreational, and social development. Interactions between horses and students have the ability to improve the student's physical capabilities and skills, as well as their social interaction, emotional stability, spiritual well-being and mental focus and processes. The need to promote healthy lives for people with disabilities is apparent and equine interactions assist in the growth, learning, and healing of an individual's well-being, which enhances family and community units.
