Our Spring/Summer CSA operates for an 18-week period beginning May 19, 2011. The Fall CSA runs for 6 weeks - October 6 thru November 10, 2011. Weekly boxes contain 8-10 items which include (in-season) vegetables such as basil, beans, beets, carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, Japanese turnips, kale, lettuce, onions, pac choi, peppers, potatoes, snow peas, squash, sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, tomatoes, and zucchini.
At Wilson Family Farm our produce is naturally grown with a commitment to high quality, great taste, and nutritional value. Through our 18-week summer CSA, which begins May 19, 2011, you will enjoy delicious in-season vegetables such snow peas, lettuce, carrots, kale, garlic, tomatoes, gourmet beans, potatoes, onions, eggplant, pac choi, sweet potatoes, Japanese turnips, and more. In addition to our CSA we sell our vegetables at these area farmers markets: Wednesdays at Market Square in Downtown Knoxville; and Saturdays @ Jackson Square in Oak Ridge. CSA members pick up their shares on Thursdays, 5:00 -6:00 p.m. at Knoxville Christian Center, next door to Sunchase Apartments. *** You must inform us no later than 4:00 p.m. on delivery day if you are not able to pick up your share for the week. Shares will be forfeited for the week if alternate arrangements are not made by Saturday evening. ***
