Our Mission:
"The mission of the Wilton Community School District is to provide an education that encourages continual progress through the improvement of one’s abilities, the expansion of one’s interests and knowledge, and the growth of one’s character."
About:
The Wilton Community Schools are located in the town of Wilton, one of the most proud and progressive communities in east central Iowa. The students attend classes in well-maintained facilities which undergo annual modernization while maintaining the classic, historical image of a small community school. The student population ranges from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. While Wilton has the advantage of being located among large population areas, we continue to strive to preserve our small-town quality of life and education.
With a dedicated professional instructional staff that averages in excess of 12 years of teaching experience and a student-teacher ratio of 12:1, Wilton is committed to caring for its students in order to help them realize their individual potential.
Our students enjoy tremendous community support. The citizens of Wilton have provided an indoor pool, ball fields, a telecommunications-distance learning classroom, a greenhouse, a small experimental farm, modern musical classrooms, science labs, computer labs, and new playground equipment.
