Word of God Christian Ministries Church
The Word of God Christian Ministries began in 1993 by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Michael J. Gray is the founder and Senior Pastor of the Church.
He began this work on a Wednesday Night at his home located at 80 Crystal River Drive, Riverdale, Georgia. Pastor Gray and his wife Lisa started a bible study in their living room. They renovated their one-car garage into a Sanctuary for church service in October 1993. They began their Worship Service on October 23, 1993. The church moved from that Sanctuary to an office building in 1994, located at 154 Valley Hill Road, Riverdale, Georgia. Next, the church moved to The Day's Inn Meeting Room, located at Old Dixie Highway, Forest Park, Georgia. In April of 2000, the church was able to purchase a 10-acre wooded lot with a beautiful church nestled on top of the hill. In August of 2005 we completed our 20,000 square ft. sancuary with gym, located at 1207 McDonough Road in Hampton, GA.

First Lady Lisa Gray and their daughter Tiffany.
God has sustained His Work.
God has remained faithful.
Pastor Gray has shown monumental courage as well as bold and innovative leadership in fostering programs and ministries that is manifesting the Vision of The Word of God Christian Ministries. God has truly blessed The Word of God Christian Ministries Church with a pastor with Vision, running with endurance the race set before him and looking unto Jesus.
Our goal is to win souls for the Kingdom of God through the Word of God.
Our goal is to nurture these souls until the day of Jesus' return.
Our goal is to develop the true Christian Church. We define Church as a Body of Believers all working together to accomplish the Perfect will of God.
Our goal is to provide a facility for true worship and true Christian fellowship according to Acts 2:44-47; 44:"And all that believed were together, and had all things common" 45:And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men as every man had need. 46:And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47:Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."
Our goal is to provide a Christian Academy to foster academic excellence and spiritual teachings God's way.
Our goal is to provide a place for the Elderly. We want to provide a place for them to fellowship, socialize, pray, exercise, shop, do arts/crafts and enjoy the richness of God's Word daily.
Our goal is to provide a resource and safe haven for Battered Women and Children. This program will be designed toward total family restoration with the help of Christian professionals.
Our goal is to provide a rehabilitation program for those who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol.
We believe The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of GOD.
We believe there is one GOD eternally existent in three persons: GOD the Father, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the blessed hope which is the rapture of the church of GOD which is in Christ at his return.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying, indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, which enables the Christian to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
