The Yankton RC Club offers a beautiful flying field surrounded by bean and corn fields normally very green).  Compliant with the rules and standards set by the AMA and FAA . The site offers two grass runways approximately 125 yards long and approximately 30 yards wide each. North and South Runways 01 and 18 respectively and East and West Runways 09 and 27 respectively. There are six set up and start tables with windsock, first aide, info center, and frequency pin board. We welcome all types of aircraft, helicopters and gliders. The club offers instructions in various areas of aviation, model building and help from some master builders with years of experience, a new pilot training program and more. Meetings are held April thru October every second Sunday of the month at 6:30 pm. at the flying field.
