Members will receive a cheese share two times per month--about every two weeks. There are 13 pick-ups during the 2011 season. Each assortment will usually include three cheese varieties totalling about 12 ounces. Both fresh pasteurized milk cheeses and aged raw milk cheeses are included. We also have a PLUS share which includes 16 oz of cheese per pick-up.

Members will have unique opportunities to try new products and place special orders for extra cheese.

Yellow Springs Farm is located on what was a dairy farm 150 years ago. It consists of a farmhouse, former dariy barn, and springhouse. There are display areas including meadow plants, wetland plants, and woodland areas we are repopulating with native species.

Yellow Springs Farm produces and grows over 200 species of wildflowers, shrubs, trees, ferns and grasses. Our plants are grown in containers so that they are easy to transport. We use organic fertilizers and sustainable farm practices.

We also have a dairy goat herd that helps use produce artisanal goat milk cheeses. Many cheeses incorporate herbs, nuts, and honey produced at Yellow Springs Farm. All cheeses are handmade in small batches, and include nothing artificial.
