The Young Scholars Child Care Center began in a residential building in March of 1997, with three children and one teacher. During this same year three teachers were employed with eight students and a large waiting list formed. In the Spring of 1998, the first four-classroom center was built with twelve employees and a capacity of fifty four full-time children. In 2000, the first center expanded to six classrooms allowing a total enrollment of seventy-eight. As of 2003, the center moved into a 10,000 square foot building with eight classrooms, an activity room and tons of outdoor space! Now in 2005 we are close to full enrollment with a waiting list that continues. The future of this growing company is still in the making..
